Work Directly with a Seasoned Attorney
At the Law Offices of David D. Welch, we are committed to providing you with sound, common sense advice. Mr. Welch's years of experience as a trial attorney have given him a unique insight into the potential problems that can arise from poorly drawn legal documents. In today's litigious environment, we know how important it is to anticipate potential problems before they arise and to prepare legal documents necessary for our clients' real estate or business transactions with the requisite skill and foresight to avoid adverse legal consequences in the future.
Take advantage of working with a seasoned professional. At David D. Welch Law Offices, you can be assured that your matter will not be assigned to an inexperienced junior associate, as is often done in today's typical large law firm.
We also recognize that the cost of legal services today is an important consideration for individuals and businesses alike. Our "no frill" approach to the practice of law is designed to deliver the highest quality legal services to our clients efficiently, and at an affordable price. Some of the factors that allow us to deliver legal services at a fraction of the cost of our large law firm competitors are:
- Efficiency of Experience. Our clients benefit from the 36+ years of experience of our founder, the 30+ years of experience of his certified paralegal, Linda Brooks, and the highly skilled office staff they supervise. Our experienced legal team never has to "re-invent the wheel," or tackle a complicated legal issue for the first time. We've "been there, done that," and unlike the clients of many of our big firm competitors, at David D. Welch Law Offices, you will never be billed for "on the job training" of inexperienced legal personnel whose primary goal is to run up billable hours for the benefit of the partner in charge of the file.
- Law Office Technology. At David D. Welch Law Offices, we employ the latest, state of the art technology, to maximize the efficiency of the delivery of legal services to our clients. Whether you are closing a real estate transaction, putting together a complicated business deal, or litigating a complex lawsuit, our firm's utilization of the latest law office technology enables our legal team deliver quality results for you efficiently and affordably.
- Low Overhead. There are no big law firm redundancies at David D. Welch Law Offices. Your matter will not be handed off to three junior lawyers, or any number of file processing specialists, whose duplicative efforts are designed to maximize billable hours rather than deliver value to the client. Our small, but exceptionally able legal team is staffed and trained to deliver legal services efficiently, with results you can count on. We stand ready to serve your legal needs with professional, results oriented legal advice and advocacy, giving you the peace of mind of knowing your legal matter is in the hands of one of Florida's leading attorneys, while at the same time, allowing you to stay "on budget."
- Flexible Fee Arrangements. Through years of experience, we have learned how to maximize value to our clients by offering flexible fee arrangements. We handle legal matters on a contingency fee basis, fixed fee, for an hourly rate, or a combination thereof. Certain types of litigation, such as personal injury or wrongful death claims, may be accepted under a contingency fee agreement, meaning that an attorney's fee is payable only if there is a recovery of monetary damages, as a percentage of the recovery. Under this type of agreement, if there is no recovery, there is no fee. Other types of matters are handled for a fixed fee, or under an hourly fee agreement. Select cases, most often in real estate or business related litigation, are appropriate for representation under a hybrid fee agreement which stipulates a reduced hourly fee, with a smaller contingency fee payment due only if, and when there is a recovery of monetary damages. The type of fee arrangement most appropriate for your legal matter will be fully discussed during your initial consultation.
Free Initial Consultation.
We invite you to contact our office to arrange a free initial consultation to allow us to evaluate your legal matter. During the initial consultation, we will analyze your legal situation in order to identify the goals to be achieved, consider appropriate strategies to resolve issues, and discuss fully the financial aspects of your representation.
